What's New

CBMF Avenger as a weanling
Congrats to Mary Brannon

We send best wishes to Mary Brannon on her astute purchase of the yearling colt, CBMF Sinatra.   "Frank" is a full sibling to CBMF Avenger and a half sibling to CBMF Audacious and CBMF Ambivalent.  We look forward to seeing Frank follow in the family tradition of winning blue ribbons.

Best Farm Shoot Picture

We are grateful that the great photographer, Howie Schatzberg, comes to Massachusetts each year for a farm shoot.  This year he captured many wonderful images but this one of his adorable daughter wins our "Best Farm Shoot Picture" Award.  Thanks, Howie.

CBMF No Exceptions is a winner!

Each year, we donate a horse as a fundraise for the AMHA Youth Group.  A few years ago, Nick Feld "won" CBMF No Exceptions.  "Rimfire" has been growing up under Nick's care and made his debut at UPHA by winning the Classic Pleasure Saddle division.  We look forward to many more victory passes for Rimmie and Nick.

Ling Fu Wylie, Harry Sebring, Iann Fu Longenecker, Ann Hailey, Patrick Duggan
Copper Dragon II

We were thrilled to partner once again with our friends, the Fu family, to hold the second sale featuring stock from our respective breeding programs.  We thank everyone for their support and congratulate everyone who took home a new horse.

NDT French Impressionist
Patsy loves him more than I do (if that is possible)

One of the excellent moments for me at Oklahoma this year was the sale of my extraordinary gelding, NDT French Impressionist.  He is one of those "one in a lifetime" horses and while it was hard to let him go, the joy of my friend, Patsy Lloyd, more than offset those little twinges of regret.  I know he will do well under her stewardship and I will get to see him every time I visit the barn.  Congratulations Patsy.  You got a great one.

Miss Grace Biron
One of my OKC favorites

Is there anything cuter than a youngster beginning her love affair with our wonderful Morgans?  One of my favorite pictures is this one of Grace Biron at Oklama this year.   I am also thrilled that the Biron Family will be at Grove Pointe and so perhaps I will get to see them more often.  Thanks and photo credit to Mr. Klein.

CBMF Avenger as a weanling
CBMF Avenger goes to North Carolina

Our great mare, Ariel (War and Peace X RRG Flashdance) had five foals compete at Oklahoma.  One of the best was CBMF Avenger who was RWC in the Futurity Two Year Old Pleasure Driving Division and the Two Year Old Futurity Geldings In Hand Division.   In addition, he was Junior Champion Gelding and Reserve Grand Champion Gelding.   We are so pleased he has a wonderful new home at Tara Farm with another of our favorites, CBMF Ruling Class.   Many thanks to Fran Pugh and Ken Swanson for their support of and confidence in our program.

Kosta Boda
Kosta Boda has a new home

Kosta Boda is one of the most beautiful horses I've ever owned and his career for us culminated in a Reserve Grand National title in the Five and Over Geldings class at Oklahoma.  We are sure he will continue his winning tradition for his new owners, the Galletta Family of Chestnut Ridge, New York.  Congratulations and best of luck with this wonderful horse.
